Dr Sharon Cubelo

Integrative Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Sharon Cubelo was born and raised in New Jersey and became a Virginia Beach local in 2017. She attended Rutgers University for her Bachelor of Science degree (Go Scarlet Knights!) and moved to St. Kitts for veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

As she finished her modern veterinary training, she sought to further her knowledge of integrative veterinary medicine. She earned her certification for companion animal rehabilitation (CCRP) with the University of Tennessee CCRP program. During that time, she began her path with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) and became a certified veterinary acupuncturist (CVA) by training at Chi University. Soon after, she became a Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner (CVMMP), which is comparable to chiropractic care in humans, through the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute (now part of Chi University).

Furthering her knowledge in TCVM, she became a Food Therapist (CVFT) and has recently completed her training in Tui-na, which is medical massage therapy. Currently, she is growing her knowledge on Chinese herbal therapies.

Her five-year goal is to earn a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and help encourage clients to integrate both Western and Eastern medicine to achieve the best health for the patients.

There are two dogs (Toby and Teagan) and two cats, (Pepperoni and Meatball) who wait for her to get home every day, and a horse named Thomas who gets spoiled with treats on the regular. During her free time, you can find her on the beach, horse-back riding, or hiking in the mountains.

Amy M.

Client and Patient Care Coordinator

With a passion for both animals and customer service, Amy has been working the veterinary field for over 5 years. She has found that she has a certain passion for integrative medicine after it helped her pup’s comfort level.  She has a Brittany Spaniel and Dalmatian/pitbull mix, Chase and Skylar, that take up most of her time. If you hear barking in the background of your phone calls, that’s them trying to help answer your questions!
