At Copper's Integrative Veterinary Care, our goal is to help pets spend more quality time with their families.
Copper is the coconut retriever Dr. Sharon Cubelo rescued in veterinary school while in St. Kitts. Based on his injuries at the time, it was suspected he had been hit by a car and a rear leg amputation was elected for improved comfort and mobility. Over time, his other injuries and arthritis started to slow him down. Acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy was introduced, and from then on his world changed!
Dr. Cubelo has had a special interest in integrative medicine since veterinary school. She is certified in rehabilitation (CCRP), Chinese acupuncture (CVA), medical manipulation (CVMMP), Chinese food therapy (CVFT), Chinese medical massage (Tui-na), and is currently studying Chinese herbal therapy.
She got into this medicine because she saw how it helped Copper as he got older and battled arthritis and kidney disease. As a tribute to her favorite patient, Copper’s Integrative Veterinary Care was born.
Dr. Cubelo has dedicated over 5 years of her career studying and implementing these alternative therapies with her patients.
Have your pet's final moments be in the comfort of their own home. Our veterinarians provide a peaceful and gentle passing for your furry loved ones.
Acupuncture can provide pain relief, promote tissue healing processes, regulate gastrointestinal motility, decrease inflammation, reduce fevers, and help regulate the immune system.
Chiropractic care is a holistic form of medicine that can be used to treat a variety of symptoms. Proven methods are used so that the body can heal itself in a natural way.
Tui-Na is a form of acupressure, massage, and deep soft tissue work that uses manual movements to stimulate acupressure points throughout the body.
Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine uses mixtures of compounds from plants, animals, and other substances found in nature to restore your pet’s energy balance.
At Copper’s Integrative Veterinary Care, we offer pet physical rehabilitation for diagnosis and management of patients with painful or functionally limiting conditions.
